The White House released a guidance document in April, instructing federal agencies to coordinate with state and local authorities on reopening offices and bringing public servants back to those offices. As more states move along the reopening timeline, agencies have to consider how safe it will be to bring feds back.

 

The Partnership for Public Service released a 25-point checklist for agency leaders before they bring employees back. Max Stier is the founding president and CEO of the Partnership for Public Service. He joined the podcast to talk about the checklist and how agency leadership can reopen federal offices safely amid the pandemic.
