Col. John Spencer is the Chair of Urban Warfare Studies with the Madison Policy Forum. Spencer has served over 25 years in the Army and has held ranks from Private to Sergeant First Class and Second Lieutenant to Major. He's also the author of the upcoming book Connected Soldiers: Life, Leadership, and Social Connections in Modern War. He joinedthe podcast to talk about his book and creating and managing a cohesive team.
